事業内容について　

2019年3月に、帯地を使用したオリジナルバッグの製造販売を目的に、事業を立ち上げました。

私は、20年近く茶道をしており、着物を着る機会が多く、親戚や知人から、着なくなった着物や帯を譲られることがよくあります。

近年、着物離れが加速し、着物を着る方が大変少なくなりました。

また、断捨離や終活ブームで着物を処分したり、フリマアプリやリサイクル店で安く売ったりする方が多くなりました。

まだまだ使える帯が処分されたり、捨てられたりするのを目にし、日本の技術・文化を次世代へ継承したいと企画したのが、「帯地と革のコラボトート」です。

帯をリメイクしたバッグはたくさんありますが、他社と違う点は、本革と組み合わせることによって、丈夫で、たくさん物が入るバッグにしたことです。

また、お客様がお持ちで、ずっとタンスに保管されたままになっている帯をバッグにリメイクする事業も行います。

加えて、コロナ禍において生活様式が変化している今、「新しい生活様式」に対応した新商品の開発も行います。

I established this business in March 2019 to produce and sell original bags made of obi cloth (kimono sash belt cloth).

I have been practicing the tea ceremony for nearly 20 years and have had many opportunities to wear kimonos, and my relatives and acquaintances often give me kimonos and obi (kimono sash belt) that they don’t wear anymore.

In recent years, the shift away from kimonos has accelerated and the number of people who wear kimonos has become very small.

In addition, many people are disposing of their kimonos or selling them at cheap prices on flea market apps or at recycle stores.

I planned the “Collaboration Tote with Obi Cloth and Leather” to pass on Japanese techniques and culture to the next generation because I saw many obis (kimono sash belts) that were still functional were being discarded or thrown away.

There are a lot of bags remade from obis (kimono sash belts), but what sets them apart from other manufacturers is the combination of genuine leather to make them sturdy and able to accommodate a lot of stuff.

We also offer a business where we remake obis (kimono sash belts) that have been left in the customer’s wardrobe for a long time into bags.

In addition, we will develop new products that respond to “new lifestyles” in today’s world of changing lifestyles due to the corona disaster.

By remaking obi (kimono sash belt) that would otherwise be discarded, we create new values and help protect the global environment, contributing to the SDGs principles promoted by the United Nations.
